These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to https://obanalesco.com (the "Site") operated by OBAN ALES LIMITED, registered in Scotland under company number SC355617, with registered office at 9 Mamore Road, PH50 4QP, Scotland, United Kingdom.

By using this Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We sell home brewing equipment, dried malt, hop pellets, brewing yeast and ancillary brewing supplies. We do not sell alcoholic beverages of any kind, finished or otherwise.

Any reference to beer styles (e.g. IPA, lager, stout, cider) describes the style of brew you may produce yourself at home, not a product we supply ready to drink.

You must be at least 21 years of age, and of legal drinking age in your jurisdiction, to purchase from this Site.

You confirm on each purchase that you are not pregnant, in recovery, currently medicated against alcohol consumption, or otherwise advised by a medical professional to avoid brewing or consuming fermented products.

You agree to use our supplies only for private, non-commercial home brewing in quantities permitted by your local law. You will not on-sell brews you create using our supplies without obtaining all required licences (e.g. excise, food-safety) in your jurisdiction.

You will not use our recipes or supplies to imitate trademarked beer brands (e.g. Guinness, Heineken, Stella) for any commercial purpose.

All prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and exclude shipping and taxes, which are added at checkout. Acceptance of your order takes place when we send a dispatch confirmation by email.

We may refuse or cancel an order without notice in the event of suspected fraud, inability to verify identity, blocked-country shipping address, or pricing error.

All content on this Site — including text, photography, illustrations, the Field Guide PDFs, the Obanales brand and logo — belongs to OBAN ALES LIMITED or our licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of the use of our supplies or the brewing process you carry out.

Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts, except where you live in a jurisdiction whose law provides you mandatory rights to bring proceedings locally.
